Quaint in the Countryside

A quaint family home in the countryside that just needed a little rethinking, creativity and added character.

This renovation involved converting the adjoined garage into two new spaces to extended the living footprint of the house, leaving the owners with an extra bedroom and a laundry room with second toilet. In addition, we renovated the main bathroom and refreshed the existing bedrooms.

In the new bedroom we replaced the existing garage door with a full height window to frame the view and maximise sunlight, given it was south facing.

Some special features were added including tongue and groove feature walls, underfloor heating and custom oak floating shelving.
